Chocolatey Caramel Apples Party Favors

A couple of blogs ago, I featured my Chocolatey Caramel Apples with Toffee Crunch. I thought I’d revisit them and show you how I wrapped them as party favors. I used fall colors and added some real olive tree leaves along with fake leaves from the Dollar Store. Instead of cellophane bags, I like to use cellophane from a roll. That way, when you cut a square piece and bring it up all around the apple, it creates a full ruffle of cellophane. It looks a little fancier.  Secure it with a pretty ribbon or two as I did in the pix, and either tuck the leaves into the ribbon, or glue-gun them on.

For Christmas, I plan to make these again and decorate them with red, green, and white ribbons. In the past, I’ve added tiny pinecones, little Christmas balls, cinnamon sticks and pine sprigs. To personalize them, you could add cute tags.
